Salon du Chocolat

Le Salon du Chocolat - Paris 2006 - 13

Chocolate has become one of the most popular flavors in the world. Gifts of chocolate molded into different shapes have become traditional on certain holidays: chocolate eggs are popular on Easter, Santa Claus and other holiday symbols on Christmas, and hearts on Valentine’s Day.

If you can’t spend a day without eating chocolate or if you eat it just for pleasure every now and then, you will love the Salon du Chocolat in Porte de Versailles, Paris.

The event is famous and congregates thousands of visitors every day. More than 80 exhibitors including many international ones participate and have the opportunity to showcase their products.

Visitors will discover the latest in industry trends from a series of chocolate tastings, demonstrations and symposiums as well as witnessing douceurs and chocolatiers creating their fineries.

It worth going and experiencing the enthusiasm that chocolate generates, the pleasure it provides, and the passion of the chocolate makers who transform it. As the organizer of the event says: Long live chocolate!

The Salon du Chocolate is being held on the 14 – 18 October at the Porte de Versailles, Paris.

I like the look of these strips of chocolate, they don’t tend to make proper chocolate in the UK anymore for Easter.

I remember the days when you used to get loads of goodies inside your egg, but now you get more packaging than anything.

Definitely gonna check this place out for pressies.
