Boterhammen in het Park or Sandwiches In The Park when its translated is a free Music festival in the beautiful Royal Park, situated in the heart of Brussels.
For 20 years now, this event has been a regular summer fixture on the Brussels calendar with the best that Dutch-speaking music has to offer. Besides the music, the event also includes kids’ animation and other attractions and so is a great day out for all the family.
Pack a picnic and a bottle of wine and sit back and enjoy a summer afternoon listening to great music while listening to the local music.
The friendly atmosphere makes the festival accessible to all and it can be easily enjoyed as part of your little break in Brussels. In the neighborhood surrounding the park, you will find all kinds of museums, concert halls, theatres and historical monuments to visit in between concerts.
This year Boterhammen in het Park takes place over the 24th -28th August 2009 and is a great way to immerse your self into the Brussels way of life.
