Let's go on the Amelie's tour!

While looking for nice things to do in Paris that I could let you know about, I came across efflorescence, a photo/art blog by Lauren Doughty. Lauren posted a few articles about her trip with such lovely photos that I couldn’t resist sharing them with you. Of course, she visited some brilliant places that cannot be ignored such as the Louvre, the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Musée d’Orsay, but my favourite part is her ‘Amélie Poulain time’ in Montmartre.

Indeed, she literally followed the lead of actress Audrey Tautou who played Amélie and took photos from the main places seen in the movie, the Caroussel, the impressive Basilique du Sacré-Coeur, the grocery store run by Mister Colignon and even Les Deux Moulins, the café where Amélie worked.
