Train to Brussels, Belgian beer, waffles and the crazy waiters’ race! Gutted I can’t go. Who wants 2 free tickets?
Watch the waiters race at Brussels’ Parc du Cinquantenaire and you’ll never complain about slow service again. Armed with a tray bearing a bottle of liquor and three full glasses, the perfectly poised waiters head for the finishing line.
This two-day event takes over the park with markets, concerts, brass bands and wine-tasting marquees, but it’s undoubtedly the waiters’ race that draws the huge crowds every year.
While the main waiters’ race is only open to professionals, there is another for amateurs with a strong sense of balance, so get practising!
We’ve got two tickets to Brussels to watch the waiters race this Sunday if you want to join in the the fun.
All you have to do if tell us why you want to go to Brussels this Sunday and why we should pick you.
THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED
* participants have to be UK residents, over 18 years old and able to travel on Sunday 20th September. No cash alternative. These tickets are non refundable. This offer is not available to members of Eurostar or its associates.

I would love this so much, for a chance to practise my language skills
And it would be a welcome relief from the last few weeks, a great reward for passing my driving test last week, and for a job interview tomorrow if it goes well! After sorting out UCAS, and the terrors of Student Finance england, I think I will need this break! Not forgetting Brussels is one of the places I have always wanted to go to, such a beautiful city and so little money for a student!

Because of all the silly competitions I enter this one would actually be useful to show my girlfriend how much I love her.
My mum and dad have been fabulous and have run around looking after my 2 children over the dreaded school holidays whilst I worked; so I would love to pack them off to Brussels for the day so they could watch ‘other people’ running around, drink wine instead ribena, listen to bands in place of The Wiggles but most of all relax and enjoy Brussels and Mussels.
Take me to Brussels for some nice mussels,
washed down by some beer, that’s all I want to hear.
I just wish I could say:” Brussels, Mussels, Beer, Here!!!!
A surprise trip to Brussels would put a smile on my other half’s face and that would make my year!
