Friends of the Earth is organising LIVEstock – a one-off comedy and music event in support of the Food Chain Campaign.
The Food Chain campaign is about revolutionising meat and dairy farming. Factory farming demands massive amounts of soy – a key ingredient in animal feed. Most of this comes from huge soy plantations in Latin America meaning that vast areas of land have to be cleared to grow the soy.
