Eurostar travel is great – much better than flying.
Eurostar travel is great – much better than flying
I just wanna win….many thanks

The number of affordable connections, inculding Eurostar, to destinations around the world has made it possible to visit more countries and be astounded by a dizzying spectrum of cultures than anyone had thought possible fifteen years ago.
That has made the biggest difference to my life.
I work in London, my boyfriend lives in Paris and my friends and Family are based in Brussels. What else can I say… Thank you Eurostar for helping me to catch-cup with them so easily.
The greater opportunities and ease of international travel !

It’s all about diggin’ the Euro Tunnel..
The French workers dug it faster despite the fact that on their side a length of 5 kilometres (3 mi) had variable and difficult geology
On 1 December 1990 Englishman Graham Fagg and Frenchman Phillippe Cozette broke through the service tunnel with the media watching. It was like The Fall of the Berlin Wall! I was 8 years old. A day I will remember for the rest of my life.
I would love my family to live in Paris just to be able to go home by Eurostar
Can you please add Venice as a new destination?? Would be maybe long but better than the plane anyway! x
Loved traveling with eurostar..comfortable, convenient, and quick and easy access to the city…just loved it…thanks for that experience…
Loved to travel with Eurostar..it is comfortable, convenient, quick and easy access to the city centre…Just loved it..Highly recommending..thanks for that experience..
What has made the biggest difference to my life over the past 15 years? Working has enabled me to visit an array of places with all the different sights, sounds and smells that that has entailed!
Nothing better than Eurostar.. or Paris..
Owing to a medical condition i cannot fly.
But because of Eurostar ,this has not stopped me in any way whatsoever from travelling regularly around Europe by train.
In fact in many ways it has enhanced the experience !!
Sunce I start using the eurostar, my trip to Paris became easy and enjoyable and more frequent for my pleasur and my family and relative too.
I just love it
Forget the airport – Eurostar is way easier and quicker
It’s 15 years since in service..
I personally prefer not to travel by plane to Paris, I prefer to travel by Eurostar because it’t DIRECT connection from the heart of London to the heart of Paris without worrying of the costs of travelling to the airports… Don’t mention about waste of time

The ability to travel easily without having to deal with the hassle of airports or leave the ground has made it so much more enjoyable to get from London to Paris and Brussels.

First Class Travel on Eurostar! It beats (and is much cheaper) than Business Class on a plane.
12 years ago I moved from France to London with a Eurostar ticket to Waterloo and £50 in my pocket… I was mad! 12 years on, I am still here and still traveling with Eurostar.
The joy of jumping on the train in London and, shortly afterwards, hopping off in Paris, Brussels, Lille, with myriad onward connections to other European destinations available is unsurpassed! I went to Turkey overland this year and started and ended my journey on Eurostar.
I was amazed at the speed in reaching my destination. Definitely much better than flying because one arrives at the centre of the city one is travelling to. I loved every moment of it and it is particularly lovely to be able to see the countryside pass by.
The biggest difference to my life in the last fifteen years is having my beautiful children and being able to take them to Paris so easily on Eurostar means that city breaks are more convenient and affordable than they were more than 15 years ago!
Eurostar has been a great tease for me, to be able to hop on and arrive in Paris, just for a wekend of fun or a birthday party with fabulous friends living over there. With No fuss, no big pre plan set up, just pack and go, I love it. And i filmed a commercial for Eurostar Paris, a few years ago…. so iam sold!
The one thing that has made a difference: Setting myself up in the film industry and fullfilling a dream I had when I was 15years old which was filming in Rio de Janero Carnival, so now I believe that you can do anything you decide to do in life.
Enjoy!

Eurostar and the Eurotunnel have brought France (and the rest of Europe) that much closer. Our pleasure is the comfort of Eurostar when travelling to Paris and for a short period see the beauty of Kent passing by and then rather quickly thereafter have the delight of France enchanting us. The train goes so fast that we can barely read the boards with the names of stations en-route,
I enjoy celebrating my Birthday with Eurostar since i was 2 years old
The Eurostar is the only civilised way to travel to the continent – its smart, efficient and easy … and very good value for money. Being able to arrive right in the centre of Paris or Brussels is truly marvellous. I think the UK and France should adopt the Belgian idea of allowing travel the same day of arrival to the rest of the country – it’s inspired. The Eurostar is Europe for me – I always look forward to travelling on it. I don’t know how we ever lived without it!
I would never travel to Paris by plane again as I love to travel by Eurostar. I have also travelled to Lille and Brussels. You arrive in the ciry centre feeling refreshed and it is so much better value for money and an excellent customer experience.
I have travelled so much on Eurostar, getting to the centre of Paris in such a short time is amazing, its comfortable, convenient, clean and an amazing way to travel. I will never fly again while I can use Eurostar. All my family use it frequently. I have had such great deals on offer often and I can tell you I have used every opportunity for my friends and family to use these deals. THANK YOU SO MUCH
The Joy of being able to get on a train in London and arrive in the beautiful city of Paris without stress and hassle has changed the way one is able to get to Europe. Also having special friends in Brussels and knowing that Ican be with them so easily travelling speedily and in comfort means that I can visit much more often than in the past. what a pleasure.
So smooth, so cool, so quick. Now everyone feels like a star when they travel to europe by Eurostar.
No hour trips to an airport, two hours of checking (or should I say hanging about doing nothing) time etc
Bus 73 to Kings Cross and Yipee… I’m in Paris before you know it!
Eurostar is simply the best way to travel to Europe
Happy 15th Birthday
My son!!!
Happy bday
I love Eurostar!
Many years ago, I served on a European Commission committee in Brussels which met fortnightly. How I used to dread rising at 4.30 am in the winter, miserably driving to Heathrow from Balham and going through lengthy security and other airport procedures. Plus, on arrival, there was the boring journey from the airport into the centre. I was worn out before I got there.
Eurostar has revolutionised my travel to Paris and Brussels. I would never return to flying to foriegn destinations now easily reached by train. Thank you so much, Eurostar.
happy birthday
Eurostar is cool and trendy

Cher Eurostar,
Bon anniversaire!
Tu as change ma vie car en moins de trois heures je peux retrouver mon le paris de mon enfance.
Sylvia
have just been on a break to Lille for my friend Carol’s 70th birthday which did in Sept as her real 70th birthday is 1st Dec 2009 but the weather would be too cold. We had a great time and the hotel you selected was fab. Love to be at celebrations then we can celebrate Carole’s birthday again thanks
‘Pack and Go’ right into to city centre – no hassel -,
no cancellation. I love Eurostar.
You put Paris on my doorstep !
Thank you.
Martin
My experience in traveler by eurostar has amazing, I really enjoy, Should have Eurostar to every where. I this much better travelling by train than fly.
Congratulation!!!
I have been travelling from London to Paris since 1975,by train, plane and car- at the best of times feeling very stressed, tired and jaded by the time I reached Paris.
The birth of Eurostar has been a God send. Now I can travel in comfort, feeling more relaxed, and by the time I spend savouring some nice cuisine on board, sipping a glass of champagne or nice wine and admiring the views of the country side both of Kent and France, I have already reached at the heart of Paris.
Besides, it is a very convenient way of travelling for my family and I and you provide us with so many great/affordable offers.
I would recommend travelling with Eurostar to anyone who appreciates some comfort, style and convenience without having to endure any stress and a big dent in their pocket.
I absolutely love travelling Eurostar. The train is wonderful, the staff excellent and the food is delicious. As a disabled traveller they make me feel special and not a problem. Thank you so much.
Happy Anniversary!
Best for me was to travel with my dad to see Euro Disney. Travel to Disney land was so easy and took less time than flying via London. we had a grate time
Hi, I’m probably going to be burnt at the stake for this, but so far my experience of Eurostar has been disappointing.
Although very useful I admit, it is generally overpriced (I don’t have a “City” salary..)unless you book light years ahead or benefit from a special offer, which always seem to elude me for some reason!
I’m amazed at the no. of people who posted here that it was more affordablethan flying.. Er… I remember paying £50.00 for a return London/Paris by Plane!Don’t think I ever paid this with Eurostar!
Also the relocation from Waterloo to St Pancras has been an absolute distater for me and my French friends who live in Zone 6 South West London/Surrey.
Call me selfish but Waterloo was more central/easy access for most people I know in and around London.
For us personnally, we would get on the 30mn train to Waterloo and then catch the Eurostar to Paris. Now we have to leg it through London with luggage and children in tow, all the way to St Pancras!!This only adds to the price of the trip & needless to say, it’s now taking us almost as long to cross London to catch the Eurostar as crossing the Channel!..
What for?
A 10mn gain on the journey from London to Paris/Brussels? Beats me.
Good Luck anyway..Guess I won’t be winning the prize after that?
Well , as I said all Eurostar’s special offers have been eluding me so far so no change there! ;op
So sorry for spoiling the fun, but at least I gave a honest opinion, which happens to be shared by another few people..
Shame though. I do like train journey and it is a useful idea.
The one thing that has made the biggest difference in my life is my wonderful little boy who’s now 4. He’s brought us so much happiness and joy and words cannot describe. He’s a fantastic son, warm, loving and very funny. His first trip on Eurostar was in April 2009 to Euro Disney – he loved it! We’re taking him again in Dec 09 too! He’s the light of our lives!
Loved traveling with Eurostar – comfortable, convenient, quick and easy access to the city, better than flying. Hello lovely Paris and friends
Just great. Thank you Eurostar and Happy Birthday
BASED IN LONDON I ALWAYS USE EUROSTAR TO GO TO PARIS OR NANTES AND NOW IT TAKES ME 5 MnS BY BUS AND LESS THAN 15MnS IF i WALKED SO YOU CAN IMAGINE WHY I RATHER USE EUROSTAR INSTEAD OF THE A
BASED IN LONDON I HAVE BEEN USING EUROSTAR FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS TO VISIT MY FAMILY IN PARIS AND NANTES , NOW IT TAKES ME 5 MnS BY BUS AND LESS THAN 15 MnS IF i WALKD SO YOU CAN IMAGINE WHY I RATHER USE EUROSTAR THAN THE AEROPLANE. IT IS SELFISH SOME PEOPLE DO STUGGLE TO GET THERE AND IT IS NOT CHEAP . good luck everyone.
Happy Birthday Eurostar.
It was great travelling with. No hassle of checking in 2 hours in advance. Good customer service.
Great Great
Before I had even noticed I was in France! I looked at my phone to see it was on a French connection. I had oysters for lunch and then went to an Elton John gig in Nantes. Utterly easy fun travel!
Will return again and again….
All the things my mom has done for me growing up…I wanted to do something nice for her and show her my appreciation. Earlier this year I was able to treat my mom on a first class ticket to from London to Brussels. We had lots of time to catch up and just enjoy each other’s company, while drinking good vine, having delicious food in a relaxing environment, Thank You!
Travelling by Eurostar is as smooth as travelling by plane.
The eurostar has become part and parcel of my journey home to see my family. Thank You.
I would never had made the numerous trips to Paris during the last 15 years had it not been for the convenience of Eurostar
Leaving away from my family, the democratisation of international travel has really made a big difference for me. May it be a plane from Standsted to Dinard or the Eurostar from St Pancras to Paris Nord, I am now a few hours away from those I love.
Also on the business point of view, Eurostar is still the best for city center to city center connection, with no wait at the end of the journey, and very little queue at the beginning.
Well done Eurostar!
Taking my son to Paris for the first time would not have been possible without eurostars low fares.
fastest train service & cool!!
fantastic competition
Switching drinking preference from beer to wine! Its taken us to all sorts of places in other countries in search of a good drop of red (and sometimes white). Must say that France is still the title holder for good (headache free) wines at reasonable prices!
I hate airports so travelling on Eurostar is always a treat!!!
EUROSTAR!!!
eurostar is the bridge to europe- a whole new culture, beautiful cities just 2 hours away door to door!
Have a brillant time travelling with U . Love seeing the countryside and arriving at the centre of the city.
Have a wonderful birthday and hope to travel with U soon
Travel fast, with ease and peace of mind is what Eurostar is all about. Happy 15th birthday and wishes for many more to come !
The most important change in my life in the last 15 years is that of being self employed. Maureen
Eurostar is certainly a most comfortable way to travel and I have enjoyed it each time I used it.
With EUROSTAR seasickness or phobia of flying are things of the past!…..
Champagne at 300km per hour!
A trip to the mountains for skiing with the family is now quicker than ever leaving more time on the slopes.
Happy Birthday !!!
Travel with Eurostar is Fun Quick, and Easy
It’s great from the centre of London to the centre of Paris
It’s great to fly from the centre of London to the centre of Paris

a revolution of the 90s
When I started at a language school here in Paris for an extended Gap-Year and was presented with a birthday-cake in the form of a Eurostar little did I know that thirteen years later I would still be living in this amazing city!
Great service, although some trains (in the weekends) tend to be pricey so sometimes I have to get up at 4am to get the first train – 29.99 – that’s a good price to see friends in Benelux. 169 – no that’s not a good price!
The most important though it that EuroStar connects us with several European cities in such a convenient and fast way!
Happy Birthday EuroStar!
I recall with mounting terror those almost forgotten days of flying to Paris, Brussells and various other locations that we now reach, comfortably, predicatably and enjoyably, via Eurostar and the SNCF network.
It is important, however, to remember the dark days when we suffered excruciating delays in airport lounges and then the expense and delays of the onward journey to city centres.
Eurstar: c’est magnifique!
Eurostar…proof that when English and French work as a team…it does work out!!
Eurostar – thank you … got a great friend via YOU !!!
Fastest train service and I think definitely much better than flying .
a new way of seeing things in cunfort and ease without pain and stress
simple is were it is.
Juste quelques heures et tu retrouves ta famille et tes amis. Du coeur de Londres au coeur de Paris. So easy!
The biggest thing to change my life in the last 15 years is my girlfriend, keeping me on the straight and narrow and ensuring we save money to travel whenever we want to and enabling us to get away from the hustle and bustle and stresses of our busy lives.
I would not be without her.
The biggest thing to change my life in the last 15 years is meeting a woman called Rosa. I was looking for a bit fun and she kept me till now. She became my wife gave me a child. It still feels like a dream!!!
Happy 15th anniversary .
Thank you.
Happy 15th anniversary .
Thank you.love you.
As a teenager, on the final leg of a journey home, I would have to ensure that I caught the train from Gare du Nord to Calais at about 14:30 in order to get into Charing Cross or Victoria around 23:00.
But maybe more remarkable than the ease of reaching Paris, is the newfound accessibility from London of Lille and Brussels.
Eurostar, Happy Birthday! Without you, my dear Eurostar I will never have find love. My first trip in Paris cost me £50 return London to Paris, I found love. Every Friday evenings for several years, I ran from the office to jump in Eurstar. Couple hours later, I was in the arms of my Love one.
I name my son Star to remember that without the Eurostar I would never I found love and would have been a spinster…….
Thank you Lovely Eurostar!
No more airports – the easy and the efficient way is only and only the EUROSTAR
bonne 15er anniversaire
que dieu vous donnes longue vie et tout ceux qui ont eu cette idee de faire eurostar.
MERCI
The biggest change in my life came from the Internet. The wealth of information, means of communication, life-management tools, arts, visuals, etcetera, that it allows to produce, use and provide is just staggeringly life-changing. That said, travelling to Paris from London in 2 hours is just amazing!
Being on the other side of the planet from my home is occasionally sad but has brought such a wealth of opportunity in seeing the world, experiencing life in one of the world’s greatest cities, London – and getting to go to Paris, which also isn’t bad
quickly and without green guilt on the Eurostar. Tell me, in 15 years time will we have a superfast Antipodean Eurostar?

That’s easy: it’s the birth of my little boy James. He’s only 1 but he has a passport and has been to Ghent on the Eurostar with us – he loved the journey and we all had a great time in Belguim.
Eurostar’s great – you’ve taken me to Paris, Lille and Brussels lots of times, and I’ve taken the train to the South of France on several occasions – slightly slower to the Med than the plane, door to door, but so much nicer.
The best treat for my girlfriends’s birthday is a day away to Paris!
I do it many times a year & our lives changed with EUROSTAR!!!!
I love Eurostar it’s the greatest!
The speed, comfort, ease of travel and short check-in time make using the Eurostar one of the best things that has affected my life
Eurostar is the most important technological breakthrough in the history of land and sea transport in recent times.
The day my daughert born

Discovering how the world “really” works!!
Having my kids is the most important thing in my life. With Eurostar, the comfort of travelling with my kids is just priceless. Thank you sooooo much….
Eurostar is a gem.It makes Paris a stone throw arriving in the city centre.
The best thing that has happened me in the last fifteen years is definitely my children. i can;t imagine my life without them.
euro star has opened up paris to us and makes travel so much easier. we love the eurostar!!
Eurostar is mo better than flying.More quicker, more comfortable. To Europe – by Eurostar
Growing older (a little bit!) and our kids becoming more independent (ie less dependent on us – I wish!) and the ease of travel throughout the UK and Europe and to all parts of the globe – when we are able to afford it – life isn’t all bad these days!!
Hmm.. that must be moving to London. Having the whole world right at your doorstep is soooo exciting! There’s no other place like this!
Hmm.. that must be moving to London. Having the whole world right at your doorstep is soooo exciting! There’s no other place like this!!
relaxing going to paris by train from london, at the same time being able to use the internet and work.
I came to London 9 years ago and I have take the Eurostar forever since. I love it. It’s just changed my life and gave me new horizons and opportunities.
beats any flying
The Eurostar has made commuting to Paris or Brussels a very pleasant journey. Commuting to these destinations was very cumbersome prior to the birth of the Eurostar.
beats any mode off transport!thanks for that
Paris-London is brilliant (well the time change helps…)
Keep doing a good job and SEND ME 15 YEARS OF FREE TICKETS!!!!
I LIKE EUROSTAR
I love Paris and I love the fact that the Eurostar makes it so easy and fast for me to get there when I get a chance. A simple but hart felt thank you x
Happy Birthday Eurostar, we love you
Eurostar cat troll balloon is hotdog and cd player with hot chocolate
What can I say – I love trains and would always opt for as a credible alternative to any airborne alternative – I’m very happy for the winners of this competition; I’m sure they all had a fantastic time.
I’m also happy for those who live within a reasonable commuting distance of St. Pancras (lovingly restored at great public expense – in part using my taxes) who can thus take advanatage of the burgeoning High Speed Rail revolution.
Unfortunately for the rest of us (particularly those living in the peripheries of Britain) the attractions of a £59.00 special offer fare and adverts extolling the virtue of impromptu trips to Brussels, Lille, Paris or even further afield, “just because it’s Saturday” ring somewhat hollow.
I look forward (about ten to fifteen years if HS2 comes to fruition?) to the day when I too can board a High Speed Rail direct service from Manchester (the city of my birth and where I still live and work) to Paris, Lille et al. Perhaps then, for me and millions others like me, it might be a case of Paris or wherever, just because it’s Saturday.
Apologies for any perception of bitterness on my part but I know how St.Pancras and HS1 was funded – it just seems like another facet of Londoncentric Britain to me.
