Friday 13th may be unlucky for some but this Friday – 13th November 2009 will be very lucky for 15 lucky people and their friend/ partner at Eurostar’s exclusive 15th birthday party.
100 people will win an invitation to Eurostar’s birthday bash at St Pancras on Friday where they will be treated to a luxurious champagne reception including canapés representing the crossover of cultures between France, Belgium and the UK. The competition is now closed and the lucky winners will be announced this afternoon!
Alain Roux, son of Michel Roux will be hosting the event and selecting the winners during the evening that will be whisked away on the ultimate weekend in Paris courtesy of Eurostar. He will also be giving everyone a signed copy of his latest book!
Everyone at the event not selected for the weekend in Paris will receive a goodie bag filled with amazing gifts that include; a pair of Eurostar tickets; 15% off voucher for the The Betjeman Arms; Pommery Pop champagne and gift vouchers; entry into an exclusive champagne event that evening to sample the new prestigious Cuvee Louise matched with canapés.

We were the last couple to be chosen in the draw and spent an absolutely fantastic weekend in Paris. Thanks to the team of Guy, Andrew, Suzanne, Lydia, Seb and Hazel who ensured we had a fabulous time and were so friendly. Everyone in the group got on well and we were treated like VIPs. Just about coming back down to earth at work now.

My friend Anne and I were 15th anniversary winners and have just spent an unexpected and very surreal weekend in Paris. We both had an absolutely amazing time and thank you so much to Guy, Suzanne, Hazel, Seb, Lydia and Andrew, you couldn’t have made the trip any more memorable; even the baking lesson was enjoyable for someone not naturally talented in the kitchen (although Chef didn’t seem too impressed with the whisking, I was)!! Thank you again, you certainly know how to celebrate an anniversary in style.
Kate & I were also 15th anniversary winners and wanted to say a massive thank you for a superb trip. Our personal highlight was the dinner cruise on the Seine on Saturday night, where we an amazing meal and such a laugh with the others on the table. Huge thank you to Guy, Hazel, Lydia, Suzanne, Andrew & Seb for planning and co-ordinating everything for us, so we felt like VIPs all weekend.
