Running Schedule

Here is a current schedule for Traction so you don’t miss out on any of the brilliant music acts! Be aware that the times are subject to change, but we will keep you posted of any alterations!

Jamie

Jamie Lidell guesting with The Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble

Jamie Lidell is a genuinely restless soul. His constant desire to progress has defined his music so far; and there’s no sign of it fading away. Dig into the discography and you’ll find underground techno, funk, disco, grooves and gospel.  Jamie’s one-man shows are quite literally, something else.  In his spare time he’s joined the techno supergroup “mostly robot” and is a producer with multitudes of new music from new artists.

Cologne, The Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble and Ice Bars

Just a note to say thank you for such a wonderful trip we experienced to Cologne last weekend. Throughly enjoyed the Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble gig and it was so great to meet them prior to the gig backstage and then to see them play live. They played some wonderful music and I can’t wait to see them play at Traction in July. We ended the trip with a seamless journey back on Eurostar – looked after by Eurostar and exceptional staff onboard and was actually quite sad to leave the train!

Ghostpoet

UK born, 2011 Mercury prize nominee Ghostpoet will be joining the line-up at Traction this summer bringing with him a handful of off-kilter, loopy electronic ditties blessed with his delightfully rambling musings on modern life. He’s a genuinely unique talent that we’re thrilled is joining us on the 14th – he dubs himself “a lad with a lisp with some stories to tell” and we can’t wait to hear the ending. benny07

Benny Sings

Our Dutch representative, Benny Sings is a complex artist whose funky jazz will add an even greater variety to the Traction line-up. But don’t be fooled, the music and melodies may act to make it all sound as fresh and breezy as a summer dress, but that does not mean it’s all happy-go-lucky for Benny. Listeners of his music often find themselves humming or singing along, which is one of Benny’s unique attributes, his song’s are incredibly catchy! Find out more about Benny here.
